Hello Stamping Friends,
This will be a quick post as it's almost bed time. We were lucky enough to have daughter, Kelly, and two of our granddaughters overnight last weekend. Our goal was to make their school Valentines, and we did accomplish that mission. Then the girls wanted to work on their Valentine boxes.
They are, of course, much cuter when you actually see them. Each box is wrapped in several layers of white tissue paper. As you can probably see, Madison's box has red, white, and pink grosgrain bows adhered with mini glue dots around the top. She then used dimensionals to add lots of red glimmer paper hearts that we had punched with the Heart-to-Heart punch. The other thing that Madison did was to use the scraps and cut around the punched out hearts to make very thin heart outlines. We put those on with mini glue dots that we sort of “squeezed” together to make them narrower. The punch has three sizes of hearts that punch at one time.
Molly's box has the same red glimmer paper hearts as well as strips of red, white, and pink grosgrain ribbon. It's so cute!
Madison is 7 and Molly is 5, so you can see what a great job they did.
We all love the red glimmer paper—it really gives us the bling!
I'll try to post the actual candy holders tomorrow. They are darling!
Good lord, I was afraid this was the project you thought for Isabella's Valentines!!! Way too cute to give away...but to keep, YES! Glitter Paper???? Must have.
